Friday September 1 is one day for everyone to change the world! One day is the Oaktree Foundation's major annual fundraising campaign, which encourages people around the world to use their individual skills and passions to run a fundraising event in support of Oaktree's projects in the developing world. An event can be anything at all: a formal dinner, a fun run, an office breakfast, a movie marathon, a concert or a school focus-day. There are endless ways for you impact lives globally and locally.
While one day is a youth inspired campaign, absolutely anyone can run an event – we invites all people of all ages to work towards the goal that one day we will live in a world without poverty and injustice. one day encourages youth and community empowerment and asks you not to wait to make a difference - the time is now! One day is the chance for you to initiate positive change in the world - to empower young people in the developing world and to bring understanding to those in your own local community. Your passion and action can change lives around the world. |
